About Stratford

Part of the London Borough of Newham, Stratford was originally an agrarian settlement, which experienced significant growth and became an industrial suburb in the 19th century. Today it is becoming a commercial and cultural centre, a process party owed to the regeneration and expansion of  the Olympic Park in 2012 Summer Olympics.
